NOTE: As of January 2012, Hancock Forest Management requires a $75 permit for access to trails on their land. More Information
These trails can be accessed from the north via the Enumclaw Transfer Station trailhead, or from the south via the Mt. Baldy parking area on Rte 410 (you will have to cross 410 to get to them - ride up the Weyerhauser Mainline road and trails will branch off to either side after you get past the mill property).
Transfer Station trailhead: From Enumclaw, go east on 410 and turn left (north) on 284th SE (Farman St). Turn right onto SE 440th St (Battersby Ave), signed "Transfer Station". Park alongside the road near where it bends, past the entrance to the transfer station. Trails depart the road at the road-bend.
Mt. Baldy parking: From Enumclaw, take Highway 410 eastward. About 2 miles outside of Enumclaw, the main parking area will be along the highway on the right, across from the Weyerhauser Mill site. Trails to Enumclaw Forest are across the road.
