Washington State and King County statutes that affect equine activities:
RCW 4.24.210 shields landowners from liability from recreational users unless the landowner has knowingly done something dangerously negligent.
RCW 4.24.540 shields people offering equestrian situations from liability unless they do something seriously negligent or purposefully injurious.
King County Code on Rural Equestrian Community trails (KCC 21A.14.350-410) - provides incentives to maintain rural equestrian trails when development happens.
